“Hi, my Name is Liv @breathe.southshields , from South Shields.
Having spent a life in beauty therapies which transitioned organically into wellness and alternative therapies, I was introduced to cold water therapy and I am addicted!
For me, the combination of community and cold water is like a medicine for the body, mind and soul! Living so close to the North Sea I am blessed with the beautiful South Shields beach on my doorstep and will be organising dips regularly. I feel very excited to be part of the WSW community!
As a Reiki Master and meditation teacher I started Breathe @breathe.southshields which also offers women’s soul circles, sound baths and kundalini yoga.
Community, wellbeing and connection is my ultimate passion! I look forward to seeing you all in the sea very soon!”

Meet Wild Sea Women Leader Luisa Mordain @luisanutrition 🧜🏻‍♀️
“I’m Luisa, and I am honoured to be part of such an amazing community of Wild Sea Women.
I have always loved the beach. Breathing in the sea air, searching for shells, getting the sand between my toes, but I never really appreciated the true beauty of the sea until I started sea dipping with my friends last year. Every sea dip is a new experience and whatever mood you arrive at the beach, you will always leave with a smile on your face. It is simply magical!
So, a little more about me…
I used to own a fashion boutique, and then ran my own organic café and wholefood store called Happy Organic in Cleadon village for 5 years. I am a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and I work privately and at the Westoe Practice in South Shields. I help and inspire women in their 40’s, with gut-related and hormonal issues, to get back on track and feel amazing! I run group detox and hormonal programs in-person and online.
I am also training to be a Kundalini Yoga Instructor and will hopefully be offering classes very soon!
For me, the combination of the breathwork, community and sea dipping has been my saviour in lock down. It has helped me not just mentally but physically too. My immune system has definitely been ‘re-tuned,’ and I now recommend sea dipping to all my clients!
I would love to share my experience with others to help to inspire them too.”
