Hi, my name is Emma.
I live in Glasgow after moving from land-locked Lincolnshire in March. I am a Holistic Therapist and Yoga Teacher (www.jotpremyogatherapy.com)
I previously worked in the NHS as a Physiotherapy Technician on a busy ward.
I have loved the water since I was a child, it seems to pull me and hold me in a steadiness and freedom I have seldom enjoyed as an adult.
Since my Kundalini Yoga Training the outdoors and cold water have been calling me more and more, and since moving, I have fully embraced living near mountains, sea and Loch’s. I love sea swimming but the Lochs seem to hold a real stillness and peace about them.
I began fully dipping on my own during lockdown in local rivers and it really helped me through some of the toughest times
In the past I suffered from Autoimmune Disease and I felt totally disconnected to my body. Since then I have learned so much about the power of breath, nature, cold and yoga.
My motto now “You are more powerful than you will ever know” and I see it every day in the community I teach and the amazing energy the Wild Sea Women groups create.
I am so proud to be able to give others the gift of the water and create a space for people to grow and nurture their bodies, minds.
