Hi, I’m Abbie, I have taught guided meditation under the name of Yogi Moment for 2 years. Personally, I have been practicing for about 8 years and I am waiting to be able to travel to do my Physical yoga teacher training. I mainly use breathwork and visualisation techniques to enable you to flow from unhelpful thinking and feelings, into an effortless stream of helpful thoughts and empowering emotions.
I’m an advocate for mental & physical healing/health via mind, body, heart, spirit, and soul connection. As humans, I believe we deserve to live in balance and wholeness.
I sea dip regularly now, although not so long ago I would have never stepped foot in the sea never mind swim, as I had a huge phobia of sea creatures (which usually just turns out to be seaweed!) But after some NLP and joining the wild sea women groups at Tynemouth my confidence has grown and my fear continues to shrink with every wave!
I’m loving leading down at Cullercoats bay with Lorna where we run a variety of sessions including the newly launched but extremely popular Dip & Dance event! (last Friday of every month)
I find that the focus, relaxation, and anxiety reduction benefits from meditation combined with the alertness, aliveness, and joy you get from entering the cold ocean, partner so well together.
